PRIVACY
POLICY
What we collect, why we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by FLÖSS. References to “FLÖSS”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean the person or business operating the FLÖSS online store.
For privacy questions or requests, please use the Contact page on this website.
2. What we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect your name, email address, delivery and billing details, order information, messages you send us, and technical information such as device, browser, IP address and site activity.
Payment details are handled by the payment provider used at checkout. FLÖSS does not need to store your full card details.
3. How we use it
We may use personal information to process and deliver orders, provide customer support, manage returns, prevent fraud, operate and improve the website, comply with legal obligations, and send marketing where you have chosen to receive it.
4. Why we can use it
We generally process information because it is needed to perform a contract with you, because we have a legitimate business interest, because we must comply with law, or because you have given consent. Where consent is relied on, you can withdraw it.
5. Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary with trusted providers that help run the store. These include Webflow, which hosts the website, receives form submissions and runs the online shop; MailerLite, which stores the email addresses (and first names, where given) of people who sign up for FLÖSS emails and sends those emails; and the payment and delivery providers used at checkout. We may also disclose information where required by law.
6. How long we keep it
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, including order records needed for accounting, tax, dispute or legal requirements.
7. Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict your personal information, object to certain processing, request portability, or withdraw consent.
You may also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office if you believe your data has been handled incorrectly.
8. Marketing & cookies
If you sign up for FLÖSS emails, either through the newsletter box or by ticking the box to hear from us when you vote for a flavour, your details are stored with MailerLite so we can send you updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any of our emails. The site may also use cookies and similar technologies to make the store work and, where enabled, understand performance or support marketing. See the Cookie Policy for more detail.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when the website, services or legal requirements change. The latest version will always be posted here.
